Personalized Mental Health Support, Just for You
At PCS, we offer personalized individual therapy that helps you navigate life’s challenges, whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, or stress. Our therapists work with you to develop a treatment plan that meets your specific needs and empowers you to make meaningful changes.
Here’s how therapy works
Your journey begins with an initial consultation to assess your needs and treatment goals. Afterward, we proceed with an assessment to gather more details. Following these steps, you’ll engage in regular sessions either in person or via telehealth, working closely with your therapist to navigate your challenges and achieve lasting change.
We begin with a free consultation to ensure a good fit. If you choose to continue, we’ll move into a comprehensive assessment to understand your background, challenges, and goals.
We’ll develop a tailored treatment plan that incorporates evidence-based therapies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), depending on your needs.
We offer both in-office and telehealth sessions to ensure your therapy fits into your life.
Our Approach
We utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as:
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
DBT is designed to help clients manage intense emotions, reduce impulsive behaviors, and improve relationships. It combines cognitive techniques with mindfulness practices.
DBT has more research backing than most other evidence-based models and is effective with a wide range of issues. It is one of the few models proven effective for individuals with emotional dysregulation, self-harm, or Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD).
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
CBT is a structured, goal-oriented therapy that helps you identify and change negative thinking patterns and behaviors. It is especially effective for treating anxiety and depression.
Clients often report improvements in their ability to manage anxiety and depression within 4 to 6 weeks of starting CBT, though progress varies by individual.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
EMDR is a specialized therapy used to treat trauma and PTSD. It helps clients reprocess traumatic memories in a safe, supportive environment, reducing their emotional impact.
Many clients report significant reductions in trauma symptoms after just a few sessions of EMDR.
Telehealth for Medication & Counseling
Our telehealth services allow clients to access high-quality medication management and counseling from the comfort of their home. Using secure, HIPAA-compliant platforms, we ensure your privacy while providing seamless access to follow-up appointments and therapy sessions.
Telehealth clients benefit from the flexibility and convenience of managing medications and engaging in counseling remotely.
Research shows telehealth is just as effective as in-person care for therapy and medication management, offering a comprehensive solution for your mental health needs.
